The short version

  • Your camera video is used only to create your live try-on. We don't save it, and we don't use it to identify you.
  • The camera preview you see before a session stays on your device.
  • Clothing images you add are deleted after 30 days.
  • We don't sell your personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
  • Stripe handles payments. We never see your full card number.
  • You can see, download or delete your data at any time by writing to support@anywear.live with "Privacy request" in the subject.

1. Who we are

AnyWear.Live ("AnyWear", "we", "us") is operated by ASAP GROUP INC, a Wyoming corporation. ASAP GROUP INC is responsible for the personal information described in this policy (the "controller" under EU and UK law).

This policy covers anywear.live, the fitting room at anywear.live/try-on, the AnyWear Chrome extension and our emails (together, the "Service"). It doesn't cover the stores and other websites you visit while using the extension. Those sites have their own policies.

The live try-on runs on real-time AI from our AI infrastructure provider, which processes video and images only for us, as a service provider (see section 5).

2. What we collect

Information you give us

  • Account details. If you sign up with a username and password: your username and a scrambled (hashed) form of your password that we can't read back. We don't ask for an email address to sign up. If you sign in with Google: your name, email address and an account ID from Google. If you buy time: the email address you give Stripe at checkout, which we keep on your account for receipts and to help you if you lose access.
  • Clothing images and links. Images you upload, take, paste or drag into the fitting room, and product links you paste. Before an upload leaves your device, the fitting room resizes the image and removes its EXIF data, including any GPS location.
  • Purchases. Your packs, purchase history and balance. Your card details go straight to Stripe. From Stripe we receive only limited details such as card brand, the last four digits, expiry date, billing country and postal code.
  • Messages. What you send us when you contact support, and our replies.

Information collected automatically

  • Session and usage data. When a session starts and ends, seconds used, time spent waiting, errors, how you added a garment (for example upload, camera or link), which camera you used, screen orientation, and which features you use.
  • Device and log data. IP address, approximate location derived from it (country and region), browser and operating system, device type, extension version, the page that referred you, and timestamps.
  • Extension data. See section 8.
  • Cookies and local storage. See section 7.

Information from other sources

  • Sign-in providers. Google, when you choose to sign in with it.
  • Stripe. Payment status, refunds, disputes and fraud signals.
  • Public product pages. When you paste a product link, our server visits that public page to find the product images. We don't sign in to stores or read anything from your accounts there.

3. Your camera video

Camera video is the most personal thing you share with AnyWear, so here is exactly what happens to it.

  • Before a session. The camera preview is shown only on your device. It isn't sent to us and it doesn't use any time. We ask before your browser shows its own camera prompt, and you can switch the camera off at any time.
  • During a live session. When you start a try-on, your camera video is sent over an encrypted connection to the GPU servers that run our AI. It draws the garment onto the video and sends the result straight back to you. Frames are processed in memory as they arrive.
  • We don't save it. Neither we nor our AI provider record or store your camera video or the generated try-on video. When the session ends, it's gone.
  • We don't train on it. Your camera video, the generated video and your clothing images are not used to train or improve any AI.
  • We don't use it to identify you. See biometric information below.
  • Safety checks. To stop misuse, images and video are checked automatically for prohibited content, such as nudity, while the session runs. These checks happen in real time and don't save your video.
  • Microphone. AnyWear doesn't use your microphone.
  • Saved clips. If you use "Save a clip" in the extension, the clip is recorded in your browser and saved to your device. It isn't uploaded to us.

Biometric information

We don't collect, store or use biometric identifiers or biometric information, such as face geometry, body scans, faceprints or voiceprints, and we don't create templates that could be used to recognize you. Our AI uses each frame only to place clothing on the person in it, for as long as it takes to draw that frame. It doesn't identify or verify anyone. If this ever changes, we'll update this policy and ask for your written consent first, as the law requires.

4. How we use your information

  • To run the Service. To create live try-ons, process clothing images, keep your balance, and keep the browser fitting room and the extension in sync.
  • For billing. To take payments, count the seconds you use, return unused time, and handle refunds and receipts.
  • To keep AnyWear safe and fair. To give free try-ons once per person (each device and each IP address can claim them once, and a check at sign-up keeps out automated accounts), prevent fraud and abuse, enforce our Terms, and block prohibited content.
  • To help you. To answer your messages and, when we have your email address, send service emails such as receipts and notices about your purchases or changes to these policies.
  • To improve AnyWear. For example, to measure how often uploads succeed and to find and fix bugs. We do this with usage data, not with your camera video.
  • To follow the law. To keep tax and accounting records and to respond to lawful requests.

We send marketing emails only if you opt in, and you can unsubscribe from any of them. We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for targeted (cross-context behavioral) advertising. We don't make decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects based only on automated processing.

5. Who we share it with

We share personal information only as described here:

  • Service providers that work for us under contract and may use the information only to provide their services to us:
    • Our AI infrastructure provider: runs the real-time AI try-on and content safety checks.
    • Stripe: payments, receipts and fraud prevention.
    • Google: sign-in, when you choose it.
    • Cloudflare: the Turnstile check at sign-up that tells people apart from automated sign-ups.
    • Providers of cloud hosting, file storage, email delivery, error reporting and analytics.
  • For legal reasons. When the law requires it, or when it's needed to protect the rights, property or safety of our users, the public or us.
  • In a business transfer. If ASAP GROUP INC is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that deal. We'll tell you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
  • With your consent, or when you ask us to.

6. How long we keep it

InformationHow long we keep it
Camera previewNever leaves your device.
Camera video and the generated try-on videoNot stored. It exists only while your live session runs.
Clothing images you addDeleted automatically 30 days after you add them.
Account detailsWhile your account is open. Deleted within 30 days after you delete your account.
Balance and session recordsWhile your account is open, then up to 24 months for billing questions, disputes and fraud prevention.
Purchase and tax records7 years, as required for tax and accounting.
Free try-on claims (device cookie ID and IP address)Up to 13 months, to stop repeat claims.
Device, log and analytics dataUp to 13 months, then deleted or kept only in aggregated form that doesn't identify you.
Support messages2 years after the conversation ends.

We may keep information longer when the law requires it or to resolve a dispute that's in progress.

7. Cookies and local storage

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies:

  • Essential. A sign-in cookie that keeps you signed in, and a device cookie that keeps your uploads together before you sign in and lets each device claim free try-ons once. Stripe sets its own cookies on checkout pages to prevent fraud. The Service doesn't work properly without these.
  • Preferences. Your browser's local storage remembers choices such as day or night mode and the size of your fitting room window. This stays on your device.
  • Your clothing pictures. The pictures you add yourself (uploads, links, pasted or dropped images) are kept in your browser, up to four, so they're in the fitting room on your next visit. This copy stays on your device and isn't sent to us. Tap a piece you're wearing to remove it, or clear this site's data in your browser to remove them all.
  • Analytics. We measure visits and feature use with privacy-friendly analytics.

We don't use advertising cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but you may then be signed out and lose uploads you made before signing in.

Because we don't sell or share personal information for targeted advertising, there's nothing to opt out of. We still treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal from your browser as a valid opt-out request.

8. The AnyWear Chrome extension

  • What it looks at. To place the Try on button, the extension looks at images on the pages you visit. This happens in your browser. We don't collect your browsing history.
  • What it sends us. Only when you click Try on or use the fitting room: the image you chose, the address of the page it came from (without the part after "?" or "#"), an installation ID, the extension version, and session and billing events.
  • Your Chrome profile email. When the extension is installed, it reads the email address of the Google account you're signed in to Chrome with, if Chrome makes it available, and sends it to us once. We use it to connect the extension to your AnyWear account and to stop free try-ons being claimed more than once.
  • What it keeps on your device. The installation ID and settings such as the fitting room window size.

Information received through the extension is used only to provide and improve the try-on features described in this policy. It isn't sold, isn't used for advertising, and isn't used to decide whether you get credit or a loan. Our use of this information complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Removing the extension stops it from collecting anything new. Your balance stays on your AnyWear account.

9. Your rights and choices

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

  • See the personal information we hold about you, and get a copy in a portable format;
  • Correct information that's wrong;
  • Delete your account and personal information;
  • Stop marketing emails (use the unsubscribe link, or tell us).

To make a request, email support@anywear.live with "Privacy request" in the subject, from the address you sign in with. If you write from another address, we'll need to confirm the account is yours before we act. We reply within 30 days, and tell you if we need more time where the law allows it.

You can ask someone else (an authorized agent) to make a request for you. We may ask for proof that they're allowed to act for you. If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying with "Appeal" in the subject line, and we'll explain our final decision in writing.

We won't treat you differently, or charge you a different price, for using any of these rights. Some information we must keep for legal reasons (for example tax records) even after you delete your account.

10. Region-specific information

United States

Residents of California and several other states have rights under state privacy laws, including those listed in section 9. In the past 12 months we have collected these categories of personal information: identifiers (such as email address and IP address); commercial information (purchases and balance); internet or other electronic network activity (usage data); approximate geolocation (from IP address); and audio-visual information (camera video during a live session, which we process in real time and don't store). We collect them from the sources in section 2, for the purposes in section 4, and share them only with the parties in section 5.

We don't sell or share personal information as those laws define it, and we don't use or disclose sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you. Retention periods are in section 6.

European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland

We rely on these legal bases:

  • Contract. To provide the Service and process purchases you ask for.
  • Consent. To use your camera (you choose to start each session), for marketing emails and for any non-essential cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time; that doesn't affect processing that already happened.
  • Legitimate interests. To keep the Service secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and improve AnyWear using usage data. You can object to this processing.
  • Legal obligation. To keep tax and accounting records and answer lawful requests.

Besides the rights in section 9, you can restrict or object to some processing. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority, though we'd appreciate the chance to sort things out with you first.

11. Children

AnyWear isn't meant for children under 13, or under 16 in the EEA and UK, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information. If you're under 18, use AnyWear only with a parent's or guardian's permission. If you believe a child has given us personal information, write to support@anywear.live and we'll delete it.

12. Security

We protect your information with encryption in transit (HTTPS for the website and encrypted WebRTC for live video), access controls, and short-lived session tokens, so the keys to the AI service never reach your browser. No system is perfectly secure, though. If a breach affects your personal information, we'll tell you as the law requires.

13. International transfers

We're based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. When we transfer personal information from the EEA, UK or Switzerland, we use safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, or another transfer mechanism allowed by law.

14. Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we'll post the new version here and update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll also tell you by email or in the Service before it takes effect.
